	1. Chapter 1: Beware of Bathrooms

"I cant believe you just left me there!" Columbus said while sitting in the car, offended.

"I came back, didn't I?" Little rock huffed at the overly dramatic teen. "Besides, it was getting weird."

"There could have been a zombie!" He said while waving his arms around the car, as if it where a big deal. "Don't you remember? BEWARE OF BATHROOMS!" He said while crossing his arms angrily.

"Calm down, its not like I left you in the middle of no where. I was standing right out side the door."

"And if anything happened to you, I would be devastated. That's why you need to stay with your partner at all times, even if your just standing outside the door." Wichita walked past her sister in a hurry. She couldn't wait to get away from all the dead bodies Tallahassee killed, just so Columbus could pee.

"Hey, whats that?" Little rock looked across the road in a squince

. What ever it was, it made allot of dust clouds.

"Is that a car?" Wichita shadowed her eyes with her hand while looking across the street to the dirt land.

"I think it is!" Little rock threw down the gun with a smile. "Hey! Over here!" Little rock began to wave her arms along with her sister.

"What the Hell?" Tallahassee looked at them with a questioning look of their sanity. "Tell me this is just the female monthly thing..." He said while walking around, trying to see what they where doing.

"Look, its another car! More survivors!" Little rock began to point at the clouded area, but both the boy's didn't seam interested. "Look, there getting closer! They can see us!" Little Rock could feel the excitement.

After meeting the boys, she felt safer. Normally her and her sister would drive away or hide, but this things have changed. She wanted to meet new people. You know, the kind that aren't dead.

	2. Chapter 2: Partner

Blood. Death. Murder.

That is the life we are forced to live in. The life of watching zombies pass bye day after day, eating each other from the insides out. Its disgusting. Sometimes they even eat them selves when the others are't around. Its like they feel no pain.

I looked over at my partner, her dark brown eyes covered by the hat she wore daily. It was her most prized position. It was black felt with a metal ring going around the trim. I didn't seam to understand why it meant so much to her, but it did. Even before Zombie Land, it was hers.

"Hey. Wake up." I said while flicking the tip of her hat. She moaned while rolling over in the car seat. "Seriously, we're getting out for gas and I cant go alone." She huffed and sat up.

"Why cant you wait until morning?" She groaned while rubbing her head in a tired fashion. "Where are we?" She asked while leaning her head again the window.

"Mississippi. Just a few more days and we'll be in Texas." I looked at her with a triumphant smile.

"Wow, I cant believe we made it." She said while smiling unbelievably. It's been years since we've been home. Do you think every ones still alive?" She asked while looking in the vanity mirror.

"They better be. Because if their not - I don't know what I would do. I just cant stand the thought of our families being part of that." I started to feel my skin become paler.

"This isn't right. We shouldn't be this scared of what might be. We need to think positive, or all hope is lost." She was always wise, but some times I couldn't help but feel that her hopes where to big.

"Hey, whats that?" She asked as she leaned forward in her chair, so naturally I fallowed her gaze.

"They look like zombies to me. Wanna shoot'em?" I asked while throwing her my gun.

"Only if I get to drive after wards." She said while smiling sarcastically. She opened the hatch and looked inside. It was full of bullets and she was ready for action.
